Holy MOLY! AMAZING!! Was impressed with the initial pics of the body, but your detail on the cable jack and switch and keeping the theme on the entire guitar, all are extraordinary!! Does it play and sound as good as it looks

Re: Shinobi *FINISHED*

Impressive!

I like its originality... enough with shiny guitars..

I'm assembling a Black Korina superstrat right now out of spare parts, I'm trying to keep it as minimalist as possible, except I did have to use gold hardware as that's what I had lying around..

But I like your original idea and execution

Re: Shinobi *FINISHED*

Thanks lads i am pleased some of you really appreciate what i have done here. I played it last night for an hour and i am happy with it. I still have a few spots that need attention fretwise but other than that she screams. Its heavy but balances well.

When i was beveling the fret edges i smashed the block into the skull and he lost part of his eyebrow. :laugh2:

John Jolly suggested a covered pickup would have been great and honestly if i had one i would have put it on. One with the texture of the rock on it.

Video? We will see.

For some reason I feel that the back cover should be different than the rest of the body..

Is this just me? :?:

Re: Shinobi *FINISHED*

The knobs are great, the matching back of the headstock texture is awesome. Every time I see these pictures I notice more detail. You really poured your soul into this guitar and it shows. Job very well done.

Re: Shinobi *FINISHED*

the back of the neck looks like its dented where it meets the body. from the impact with the back of someone's head?

Yeah black would work too.

Thanks man. Did you notice the kanji symbol for power on the jack holder?:biglaugh:

I make it flatter towards the heel.

Really, really crazy man. Never seen anything even close to it. Wow.

You are a crazy man. Congratulations on some great work there.

Re: Shinobi *FINISHED*

screw everything and give this man the prize to the luthier of the year now!!!!!

man you really overdone yourself with this one, crazy cool, and i thought you weren't going to add a shuriken, a little hidden but you know, you can't see a ninja with a shuriken until the attack, crazy concept, over the top execution and even more impressive after knowing your craftmanship is more on the artesanal side

you even when you faked the bamboo you nailed it man, even the imperfections are in the correct place to look like something that was used and has been resting on an old vault on the deep bamboo junlge waiting to be welded again in the sake of destruction

just stuning man!

if you ever change the pickup/cover it, think of making a matching wooden cover

I tell you what it was crazy routing out the first cavity for the skull. it was either going to be ****ing a guitar or making it at that point. Needless to say i made it. Thanks dagzy
