Likewise I've been playing for 30 years and haven't had to need to repair headstocks on a guitar much less felt the need to replace them.

i just read that post, looked at my rack of Fenders sitting next to Gibsons, looked at my massive hands, looked back at the rack, and my ears farted because my brain could not process how stupid that sounded.

I hate to get into the middle of the age old Fender vs. Gibson debate.

But the Lester that the OP bought, is fake...very, very, very fake.
You should get a refund asap.

we're talking about a 90s guitar here.

You guys know what the truth is? I'm probably going to end up flipping this guitar. I have a bad back and it's way too heavy for me.

edit2: at any rate, if this guitar is a copy... which I doubt it is, it's a very GOOD copy. felt just like my friends' epi les paul custom, but weighed more and played better.

I think beyond having decent pups its all about looks

gibson les paul with binding looks great on stage, but tons have that and its not so hipsterish/trendy no more, played out??

I have an epiphone standard silver sparkle, I put a gibson sticker on the headstock

so um i duno. Maybe try reading a book or something so you can learn how to formulate an idea and write it out in a way that makes sense to other people.
