Show Off Your TELECASTERS!!!

Re: Show Off Your TELECASTERS!!!

2007 Highway One. Unfortunately I needed to sell it when I relocated back to the States. I liked the stock pups on it, which is odd for me.

However, I miss the pooch more. She stayed w/her family in Oz.

I dig the ASAT SouthpawGuy. That is what I really need!

Here's mine.

MIA Fender Partscaster Tele

It has a Pearly Gates Plus in the neck and a C8 in that pic. I'm actually putting in a Antiquity neck HB today. I'm looking to get a '78 for it so I might take out the C8.

Re: Show Off Your TELECASTERS!!!

Here is my new partscaster (USA CG body Warmoth neck), a local and quite cool luthier did the finish, and the pickups are Lollar p90's:

I did not have any red guitars!

:)

By the way, it sounds great.

Here's my Peavey Generation. Has their ACM piezo in it, with a GFS Loudmouth in the bridge, and GFS Pro Tube HB in the neck with a 5-way switch (bridge, bridge split, neck&bridge, neck split, neck). It's been a fantastic cheap guitar. Smooth to play, and sounds nice and full.

Re: Show Off Your TELECASTERS!!!

GOOD GOD! That's one of the most beautiful Teles I've ever laid eyes on! Tell us more about it, if you please.

- Keith

Thanks!

What's the body and finish on that Rosewood Warmoth?

It's a chambered 4 piece rosewood body with flame maple laminates between the pieces, and another flame maple laminate running underneath the rosewood top.

The finish was just a wipe on Poly I did myself. It worked great on the back and sides, but the top was really oily and it didn't take the finish very well. I'm going to sand down the top and just refinish that at some point, making sure I've cleared it of it's oils first.

Total specs:

Warmoth Chambered Telecaster Body
-4 pc Rosewood with Maple laminates
-Rosewood top with flame maple laminate
-Contoured heel

Warmoth Pro Neck
-Rosewood back/Ebony Fingerboard
-Standard Thin contour (shaped a little more by me to my preference)
-6105 frets
-Bone nut
-Mother of Pearl dot inlays

Electronics
-Duncan Vintage Broadcaster Lead pickup
-Duncan Vintage Mini Hum
-500k/250k Concentric volume pot, pinned so that one knob can turn both
-250k Tone pot
-Mallory .047uf cap
-Electrosocket output jack/cup

Hardware
-Callaham bridge with enhanced brass saddles
-Gotoh Vintage style locking tuning machines
