Does this count as a tele?

LesStrat says yes! ;)

Re: Show Off Your TELECASTERS!!!

Here's a pic of my 60th Anniversary American model with a GFS Modern Vintage Lil Puncher in the bridge (10k), Tex Mex Strat in the middle, and a GFS alnico Minibucker in the neck.

I had been using 250k pots but the mini is toooo mellow with those values. GFS strongly suggests 500k with all humbuckers. So far, I am enjoying the tones and variety.

Re: Show Off Your TELECASTERS!!!

I have just re-wired my MIA Tele (again). STHRs in bridge and neck along with an Tele stock neck in the middle. Individual coil splits for bridge and neck. Also strat wired 5 way switch.

As for the cosmetics: Single layer (8 holes) pure black custom warmoth pick guard with black pick guard and pick up screws.

Re: Show Off Your TELECASTERS!!!

Here is my latest project. It is New Guinea Rosewood weighs about 4 lbs. It will have a floyd, 78 and a Cruiser with a super 5 way 1 vol 1 tone. Figured maple Warmoth Pro neck. I plan on torching it, filling the grain and staining with Rosewood and Golden Oak satin poly.

Re: Show Off Your TELECASTERS!!!

This is my Telecaster.

Well, it's a Strato/Telecaster.
I haven't had the time to change the pickups on this guitar yet, though I did have it refretted last year, but when I do upgrade the electronics, be sure I will be looking very closely at my Seymour Duncan options.

Acording to my guitar guy, the guy who builds all my custom guitar projects, this guitar was built by a guy he knows right here in London.
