I really liked the Blues Deluxe, the cleans are amazing on it! I couldn't handle not having a good tube overdrive tone though. So one of my friend made me a direct trade. Both are in mint condition, his is only a few days out of the store.

I really like it up to nowm and the celestion sounds wicked in it. I am thinking of an extension cab for it though. I'm very happy with this amp!

Well Done -
Those are nice amps from Traynor, and a better lead channel than the BDRI in my opinion. They come stock with a good speaker, and are one of the most handsome amps you will ever see from mass production. We have the 15 watt version, YCV20WR that comes with a Green Back. I have always been surprised that these amps did not catch on more than they did. Oh well, you got one at least.
Enjoy!

I've had one of those for a couple years now, they're great amps . . . the matching extension cab really makes them sound a lot better IMHO.

I was hoping someone would have tried this. I am really looking forward to adding the matching cab, to get that extra projection and tight low end.

I think it is a very interesting amp. I came so close to getting the 20w version, but needed the headroom for live stuff.

Right now, after having the blues junior, I am in heaven with the drive channel.

Sweet deal man. Are you going to keep the stock tubes? I changed the 5881s to JJ 6L6s in my amp and saw a big improvement. But if it already sounds good then don't fix whats not broke :D

You know what, I can't really say a whole bunch right now, caus the amp isn't really broken in, and I hear the vintage 30 takes a bunch of time to do that. So right now I like the sound, and I'm just focused on breaking that baby in. After that, I'll probably play the tubes until they die, and just replace them then. I think if I find money for an upgrade at the moment, it would be an extension cab.

Btw, after playing the blues deluxe ( that had no tube distortion what so ever ), playing some ZZ Top on this thing with my LP, and driving the tubes to scream, takes me strait to heaven. I am trully loving it.

That's an amp that needs a set of JJ tubes bro! Nice reverb. Nice breakup. Lead boost is cool. Highest gain is a little farty. Not a lot of chime in the cleans. New tubes fix that up. It adds clarity and top end. You don't even have to buy a matched set because the amp takes care of that for you! Congrats bro! Nice amp.
