i ended up with it. i stripped it down to natural, (got an awesome one peice mohogany back) and pretty decent 3 peice maple top. i put the red bullseye on it and did a new face plate with pearl gibson logo and a new "les paul model" decal. i've bound the body and neck. it pretty much an exact clone of zakks standard other than having the duncan dist and dmz virtual paf. i really couldn't be happier with the way it has turned out.

i dont have any before pics. but i can tell you it was purple and had a fag blue gibson logo. i wouldn't have been caught dead anywhere with a paul that looked like that. lol. i will get moon to take some pics with his digi cam next time im down at his house. i will post them and some pics of the slut banger strat i just finished
