So you get the call of a lifetime from the management of your favorite band. One of the guitar players is unable to tour the upcoming final leg of these 85 stadium shows to button up their big world tour. The final leg kicks off in two weeks and you need to build a rig with this criteria from the band. You have access to all the gear you would want or need but you have some limitations and boundaries on what you can get...(All paid for by the band of course). The guitar player you are temporarily replacing used a certain amount of everything for their rig and you must do the same as them quantity wise. Here is the list used and amounts of the things you have to work with. You will be picked up within the hour to go shopping and begin building the rig with your tech for the tour. Rehearsals are in 3 days. Here is what you need to buy.

1 acoustic guitar
2 amp heads (Must be able to do clean, dirty and high gain sounds)
4 4x12 cabs
8 pedals

This thread had nothing to do with what you already have. You are getting paid to pick out a rig with certain criteria. The guidelines and criteria were outlined in detail. All you had to do was build your rig. Even the things you may consider and question that you may think of having to buy was listed and communicated that they were provided. The word on the street was you are the $hit, the player for the job. Nobody fits the gig better than you to be the replacement. You are it! I played along just fine. I just didn't feel like typing out the details of my guitars that I already have. And if I didn't already have an old Spidervalve and love it, I would just go with a Helix direct in with an iem.
As far as the guitars go, I love the ones that I've acquired over the years. And I'm familiar with them. No wish list is necessary. Aside from an acoustic which I'm sad to say I lack.

If you couldn't pull off the playing side of things you wouldn't be getting the call nor would you be getting the go ahead to build a rig on the bands/managements dime.
