"Southern Twang" - Rock/Metal/Southern

Hey yall - just got a new gibson! score! so I wrote a song using it, along with using my rat pedal. super cheap with the musicians friend used guitar sale going on. this one was really brand new. no scratches even though they said there was scratches. lucky me!! here is my new song with this guitar only called "Southern Twang": http://soundclick.com/share?songid=9731098 I just wrote it tonite.

Nice.

However, In your part of the South, does "southern twang" sound like Black Sabbath?
I hear zero twang, only Tony Iommi.

Mix could be a bit better, just sorting out the freqs that overlap and distort.
Love the raw tone though.

I tried to make this a one hour song but it turned into 2 hours...I could improve on my mixes I do agree. thanks for the CC - it reminds me I never listen to country, I changed the name of the song to "southern styled"; I hope to get around to spending a few hours mixing this song sometime...

I dont hear anything I'd consider twangy, but what I do hear is a song that really is awesome that I like a whole lot!!!!!

thanks brutha! I need to get around to remixing it, I used my epi thunderbird bass but the bass does need to be more prominent in the mix in retrospect
