That is a beaut! Again another vote against a pickguard, that flame is just too good. Nickle covered pups would be cool, keep it looking like the classic les paul, its just too beautiful to do too many aesthetic changes.

Yeah, I'll cast another vote against the pickguard. Pickguards only work on LP Customs.

That's probably because there is no beautiful grain/burst/quilt to hide on most of them.

thanks guys, i'm real psyced to have found such a light LP with a killer top in my favorite color!!

as for that guard, there is NO chance it is going on this guitar...it would kill the look.

Scott, don't worry, i hate pickguards on LPs, it's not going on! i hope i enjoy it too! i think being that it's so light for a paul it will be perfect for me!

I can't stop buying the damn things LOL.

i was trying to find a different 22 fret set neck mahogany guitar and i told myself no les pauls unless it's a KILLER of a les paul...
