Haha, well, to be honest, when I first was looking for finish options for this axe, I was looking for a shade of blue. I couldn't find it so I settled on olive drab.

Most of my stuff is blue, but not everything. In the future I will be adding a few axes that aren't blue as well. Just a few though.

Yeah, it's real pretty to my eyes too, thanks. I've got another outside shot that really shows the flame (it's 3-pc maple laminate, not photofin) and it's deep, but in one of those digital annoyances, I can't find it. The chatoyance is wild.
