I'm seriously thinking that I'm gonna put down a deposit though. They're sold out till the second half of next year. Been wanting to get another 7 string for a while, this would be even sicker .

I've always been impressed with the quality of Agiles that I see around here in the guitar stores. They're not masterfully built by any means, but they're **** good for the money.

The intrepid pro 8 is the most expensive axe on their site it seems @ 675. Nice list of features. Pretty axe.

I'm tempted. I really am.

Boy, I guess I'm just old. I'm a 6/12 string guitarist and a 4 string bassist. The only thing I play a lot with 8 strings is a mandolin.

I've sort of forsaken all the weird permutations of more/less strings on guitars, but knowing Agile's prices and their supposed quality, I would be severely tempted to give one of those things a whirl.

All three 8 strings are sick but the edge has to go to the Agile since it's probably several times cheaper at $600-$700. If I ever was to get one it'd probably be that Intrepid Pro.

In the meantime I'm going to check out what I'd use a 7 much less an 8 string guitar for.

Will probably wait until they have actual photos of the different finishes as well. Maybe after I get that black fretless LP they have from time to time.

Hell, I'd get it just to see what I could do with it. Maybe learn a couple of meshuggah songs, stuff like that.

I love the way it looks in natural, though. If only duncan made an 8 string blackout neck.

I'm pretty **** sure that I'm gonna put down a deposit on one of these. Gotta sell my old dearmond first (which I've been meaning to do for a while), but this looks pretty **** sweet.

Word, that is only the deposit. Ya pay half up front, the other half when it's ready to be shipped out. That'll take a bit of the sting off . Or at least spread it out.
