Re: The....Gibson guitar poll?

Warms my heart to see all the votes for 335's. Looks traditional, but the center block & neck access were milestones in electric guitar history. I used to hate them until I did some research & found how good the design is for tone quality & how many guys have used them over the last 50 years. The record speaks for itself. I deveoped an admiration & then a passion.

Howdy,

ES-335. I'd love to play one with P-90's!

Eggman

PS: Same goes for Les Pauls (P-90s), but that's another thread..

Re: The....Gibson guitar poll?

I like all of them if they are made well and at the same time the price is fair. It unfortunate that neither is usually the case with Gibson.

Nope, it says "raunch" not Ranch ya Jabroni.

Gibsons are OK but, for $2000 I better get a nut that does not bind, 500K pots, and something other than crappy Gibson pickups.

Hell, for that price, maybe custom options on a guitar.

Re: The....Gibson guitar poll?

I think the ES-335 is the best electric guitar of all time. I really want one, but I'm in no financial situation for it anytime soon, they're all on the expensive side. I'd kill for a P90 loaded one with a giant neck, but they don't really make them, so I could go for a fat neck one with phat cats or similar. I have 2 lesters, and as much as I love them, I still think theyre a close second to the ES-335 (which is a little more versitile in my book, and the bigger body looks more correctly proportional on me)
