Wouldn't mind having my 1968 Tele Thinline back. Natural ash and a factory Bigsby. It was stolen and when I got it back it was messed up. No real luthiers back then, but now it could have been easily fixed. Traded it for a Gibson ES-150DCN and it had a lot of problems...also probably could have been fixed. Ahh, if I knew then what I know now.
I would like to have my 1975 Les Paul '55 Special Reissue back. Another guitar with fixable problems, but I really needed the money. Never found another one that pretty or that sounded as good.
There's a couple of amps I'd like to have back, like my '65 Band Master rig that was stolen. I also had to sell my '64 blonde tolexed Tremolux rig and a '65 Deluxe Reverb; I had to sell these for financial reasons. Loved them, the Tremolux was absolutely delicious, a great club-size amp. But I hung on to the Mesas I had, and that was the right choice.
But the guitar I miss most is a c. 1970's Gibson ES-330 longneck. Beautiful Iced Tea burst and just fantastic P-90 tone. Never seen another one like it. Bought it in 1973 from a junkie who need a fix, and gave him $175 and a referral to a clinic. Traded a couple years later it for Univox drum machine I had to have to gig as a single act back then. Drum machine helped pay the rent for several years and is worth about $25 today. The 330 would be worth about $5Gs. Ouch!
