My brother in law has a Parker Fly Deluxe. He offered to sell it to me for a ridiculously low price to keep it in the family.
Last year, he had MJ rewind the pickups. Thanks to the magic of our local tone gnome, it now has a Custom Custom in the bridge, and an A2PRO in the neck.
He replaced it with a reissue SG, because he was looking for something with a neck/fretboard width similar to his classical guitar.
I'll probably have her in a couple of weeks...then the
Name My New Baby
game begins anew. I played her before the pickup change, and remarkably, it was brighter than my Nitefly (w/ 3 s/c's ). I think the new pups should have darkened the tone to a more tolerable level.
BTW, she is Italian Plum.
