I just got back from a gig and it is 3:16 here in the Great American Bottoms. Ask away and I will answer when I get motivated after a little snoooze. Thanks to Stevie Bees for the nomination....

let the fun begin.:)

Re: The Well: Episode 3 - Do you feel lucky?

My favourite question:
What's your most embarrasing moment?

Some others:
For your purposes, is there anything your trusty Strat can't do?
Past and present, who do you think has the prettiest face in Hollywood?
What was your favourite gig (that you played) and why?
What do you look for in a lead singer?
Do you enjoy avocados?

Re: The Well: Episode 3 - Do you feel lucky?

How many jokes do you know about the American Bottoms?

Re: The Well: Episode 3 - Do you feel lucky?

Vintage or jumbo frets in your Strat? Any non-standard wiring schemes?

I talked to your wife on the phone once, and she seemed super nice. She's also obviously quite attractive. Is she, in actuality, a robot you designed in your garage?

Re: The Well: Episode 3 - Do you feel lucky?

What does you super-hot babe think of the forum, and the excessive time you spend here?

Being of the right age, what were you listening to in the 80's?

Where did the Bungalo moniker come from?

Where do you stand on the issue of pantaloons?

Re: The Well: Episode 3 - Do you feel lucky?

How often do you pose in front of a mirror pretending to be Punky Meadows in a given year?

^Perfect question, we demand the real answer :P^

I was at a gig a while back and the singer called out a tune, so I set up my rig for the tone I needed...it was a tune that was a countoff, that we all start together....the drummer clicked off 4 and we started.

One small problem...I must of misunderstood the singer and set my rig loud and overdriven for a rock tune, unfortunately the tune that was actually called was a country number. We started....4 cats playing a counrty tune in G and me playing an E power chord...total trainwreck disaster. :blackeye: or....

While loading the van for a gig I was in charge of "idiot check" to make sure we had all the gear. One of the guys set the mic bax on the far side of the van and I didn't see it...after 70 miles of driving we arrive at a goodsize hall to play a private party. Opps! No mic box....our 5 piece band played that night by sharing one 57 for vocals and we had a d 112 for the kick....fun gig!

It won't sound like a Les Paul, wash my clothes or cook me dinner..it does a fair job of everything else. ;)

Without question, Myrna Loy.

I played a barn party about 10 or 12 years ago and my good friend Todd sat in with us on guitar...monster player!!! We had a blast. Good food, good friends = a whole lotta fun and a great time.

I have pretty much worked with the same singer for 15 years. He is a greta singer and a heck of a stand up guy. If he quits I will look for a singer with a big voice, small ego and a strong back.

I never ate a plain one...I like quacomole though.

Re: The Well: Episode 3 - Do you feel lucky?

I will bring up my question fro SB's session.. If you could name one single band or artist you would strongly encourage our generation to investigate, what would that be?

Re: The Well: Episode 3 - Do you feel lucky?

How did your wife get her start in modeling?

Re: The Well: Episode 3 - Do you feel lucky?

Describe your perfect in gig moment.

It is when you become one with your instrument...it only happens rarely for me, but when it does, it is magic. I believe when you get in that "zone", is when the true creativity begins. It is like the guitar is paying itself or playing you....my favorite thing about playing. :)

How many jokes do you know about the American Bottoms?

None...It is the old school name for the part of the country where I reside.
The original path of the Mississippi river that is super fertile and teaming with life. If you google 'Cahokia Mounds" you might get an idea of what I am talking about.

Vintage or jumbo frets in your Strat? Any non-standard wiring schemes?]

Chris, It had medium jumbos on it when new and I had it refretted with
6100s .....I love it. My tech had to plane the finger board a little so it might be a touch flatter than the 12" radius that it was stock.

Wiring?
Superswithch with combos of
b
b&m
b&n
m&n
n
Tone for neck and a tone control for the bridge that is a push pull for the tapped bridge pup. My axe is very versatile....it may not appeal to anyone excepy me....I like simple layout with a lot of "usable" tones.

I couldn't design or make anything that has the inherent beauty of a woman.

She is not a Stepford wife or fembot.

I'm going to take my boys to the Harvest Fest at the local park and i will be back later in the afternoon to catch up. Keep 'em coming. :notworthy

Re: The Well: Episode 3 - Do you feel lucky?

At 16 how would you rate your guitar playing skill?
How long did you practice a day and what did you practice?
Basically how did you get your band, where did you go for members, how did you decide what music to play?

She don't mind so much. A lot of husbands would be out getting a drink after work...I go straight home. I don't spend much time away from home without Amber or my kids.

The 80s....I started out listening to the first couple Ozzy albums and Van Halen until everything on the radio started to sound like a bad ripoff of those 2 bands....dug back and really got into blues and 60s rock which is what I started out listening to. i'm not a big fan of 80s metal although I understand the guitar player interest of the people who champion it.

From the Beatles tune The Continuing Adventures of Bungalowbill......funny little ditty.

I'm indifferent to the issue. :D

How often do you pose in front of a mirror pretending to be Punky Meadows in a given year?

I couldn't do Punky Meadows if I tried..I would make 3 of Punky.....cool player though.
What does 'ND' stand for? :laugh2:

^Perfect question, we demand the real answer :P^

OK, I am going to break the silence on this issue. It stand for Norma Dumbledore, the illegitamate child of Albus Dumbledore and Minerva McGonagall
