Re: The Well: Episode 3 - Do you feel lucky?
My favourite question:
What's your most embarrasing moment?
Some others:
For your purposes, is there anything your trusty Strat can't do?
Past and present, who do you think has the prettiest face in Hollywood?
What was your favourite gig (that you played) and why?
What do you look for in a lead singer?
Do you enjoy avocados?
I was at a gig a while back and the singer called out a tune, so I set up my rig for the tone I needed...it was a tune that was a countoff, that we all start together....the drummer clicked off 4 and we started.
One small problem...I must of misunderstood the singer and set my rig loud and overdriven for a rock tune, unfortunately the tune that was actually called was a country number. We started....4 cats playing a counrty tune in G and me playing an E power chord...total trainwreck disaster. :blackeye: or....
While loading the van for a gig I was in charge of "idiot check" to make sure we had all the gear. One of the guys set the mic bax on the far side of the van and I didn't see it...after 70 miles of driving we arrive at a goodsize hall to play a private party. Opps! No mic box....our 5 piece band played that night by sharing one 57 for vocals and we had a d 112 for the kick....fun gig!
It won't sound like a Les Paul, wash my clothes or cook me dinner..it does a fair job of everything else.
Without question, Myrna Loy.
I played a barn party about 10 or 12 years ago and my good friend Todd sat in with us on guitar...monster player!!! We had a blast. Good food, good friends = a whole lotta fun and a great time.
I have pretty much worked with the same singer for 15 years. He is a greta singer and a heck of a stand up guy. If he quits I will look for a singer with a big voice, small ego and a strong back.
I never ate a plain one...I like quacomole though.
