****, I'm a bit late on this one!

Brief (or detailed, if you want) history of listening habits, band activity, and amp/guitar tastes?

Re: The Well XX - The Well Is Hell / I'm A Rebel So I Rebel

I left the parking lot of my really terrible retail gig and turned on WFNX and heard this....this sound....it was like anger distilled, set on fire, trucked through the depths of hell and then put right through my speakers.

I could barely speak I was so wowed. I pulled an illegal turn on the highway and jumped a curb to get into the parking lot of a local record shop.

I still could barely speak as I walked through the door and told them to turn the store radio to 'FNX and then point me to what that album was.

It was Ministry. I bought the album on the spot and had the cover off of it before I got to my car. I listened to it in full on the way home.

Once home I must have listened to it twice more before I went to bed that night.

It was like everything I knew about music had changed.

What year was that? Which song was it?

Ya know man, you've taken a vicious beating over it, and you've taken it in stride. Your mettle as a person has shown more from that than anything else as far as I'm concerned.

Anyonecan screw up a first impression. But to put in the work to change that impression after the fact every time you interact, that takes some serious guts and you should be commended for it.

:) Well thank you very much. Some would argue that I've screw up my second, and third, etc. impressions. :lmao: But I really appreciate that, especially from you.

How's your new band going?

Where and when did you have your greatest on-stage moment?

Re: The Well XX - The Well Is Hell / I'm A Rebel So I Rebel

which do you enjoy more...fishing or playing guitar?

oooohhhh tough one isn't it?!?!

Re: The Well XX - The Well Is Hell / I'm A Rebel So I Rebel

Ok, I'll ask a serious question:

If I were to ask a serious question, would you bother to respond?

Is the impenetrable cynicism innate or was it accrued over years of jading? ;)

It comes from spending so many years of living near they city I do that has the annual hope in their sports teams that they're going to go "all the way" only to find them receive a crushing eventual defeat.

Even as a non-sports fan it effects me.

I told ya man....I had a gig last night and I'm in training all this week.

The answers dictate more than just fluff or a pithy response....

Consistently I enjoy fishing more. Hands down.

Theres no expectations....you could catch something, you might not...that's why it's called fishing.

Playing guitar there's so many more expectations. What did you accomplish? What are you working towards? What are you doing with it? What gigs do you have coming up?

No sweat, man! Sorry for my impatience. :)

I imagine that it does. Though, to be fair, the Pats have enjoyed a pretty long tenure of relative dominance in the NFL.

I understand what you are saying. However, I've worked on making guitar more like how you've described fishing. I think it is possible to do so, and thus increase or extend enjoyment of playing music, although I'm only part of the way there at this point. Thoughts?

Thanks for sound words on my questions!

I'd be interested in seeing some pics from your days in Colorado. Do you happen to have them somewhere nearby?

I thought that was considered "unprotected promiscuous sex."

I thought it's because you were attempting to catch... fish.

Which has the greater impact, rain on the scarecrow? Or blood on the plow?

That trip was about 12 years or so ago. The only one I can remember is an "Out Of Boundary" one on the top with a skull and crossbones.

Eh, to some degree I can see it.

Playing guitar is more often than not a solo thing. I can say that in great part I enjoy doing "band things" alot of times more than I like jujst tooling around on guitar.

To some degree band stuff is something I can build upon whereas playing guitar and getting better to me is just generally a mindless pursuit at times. I've done the discipline thing and seen how far I can push myself. The appeal just isn't there for me in that capacity.
