What are your dreams for the future of Gibson?

Your son, not the guitar company (though if you have some dreams regarding the future of the guitar company, do share).

Ya know, I just want the kid to be happy.....whatever he ends up doing or being interested in....just be happy and healthy.

It always sounds like a cliche, but once you have kids of your own, you never fully understand the sentiment and feeling behind it...

If Eddie can have a sig guitar and call it Wolfgang after his son, what would the specs be on the Skarey Gibson Gibson???

It would be a clone of my 73' Les Paul Deluxe with stock mini-humbuckers and stainless steel frets.

What's the coolest (in your own mind) historical place that you've ever visited?

Have you ever been trashed and just thrown some tea out in the bay (or whatever it is) and had your own Boston Tea Party? That'd be cool.:)

How long have you had long hair man?

That one's kinda tough. Probably Nantucket from knowing my ancestors were the first inhabitants there. It's a living peice of history that has been preserved exceptionally well.

No, but in one of my old bands we used to lock ourselves up in the rehearsal space one night out of the month with all the booze and other assorted sundries we could find and not leave until all of it had been consumed.

....amazing we all lived through that.

How long have you had long hair man?

****...probably since 1993 or so.

I shaved it all of in 2000 so I would have a normal looking haircut for my wedding. But after that I just let it grow out again.

Which would you have preferred to be involved in as a writer?

1. Family Guy
2. The Simpsons
3. South Park
4. The View

...I wasn't aware that there were writers on The View?

It's all part of a vast non-winged conspiracy. Actually, I couldn't think of a fourth of the top of my head, but I'd already typed the number 4.

I would of loved to have been involved with The Simspons in the early days when Conan O'Brien was writing for them. That had to of been an amazing era for them.

Same with South Park because they were really pushing boundaries of content but still had a very capricious spirit to it.

Ever heard of "Honest Bob and the Factory to Dealer Incentives," and if so, whaddya think?

They're from Boston, that's the only reason I ask.

If you could have one super power what would it be?

Favorite character from tv/book/movie ect.?

What one piece of gear do you want that most would say or think isn't very fitting for your style?

Someone else asked about your ink--if you can post some pics

If you were to win a vast sum of money, but weren't able to buy 'things' with it--no monetary value once it's gone, how would you spend the money?

What's the deal behind your forum gloss and the harry potter quote that used to be in your sig?

Re: The Well XX - The Well Is Hell / I'm A Rebel So I Rebel

OK, this should be interesting....

Biggest gear mistake you made (selling and/or modifying)?

What piece of gear of mine do you covet?

Do you fear at all that Gibson will grow up to be a drummer?

Which blues artist (dead or alive) do you wish you could see live?

Do you know what happened to that bass that Uncle Paul had that we appropriated so many years ago?

Re: The Well XX - The Well Is Hell / I'm A Rebel So I Rebel

You get to have one piece of music played at your funeral. Name it.

Nope. Never heard of them.

The thing about Boston though is that there are more bands per square mile in the place and they're constantly coming and going and re-forming and doing offshoot projects. Listening to local radio you need a map sometimes to figure out who is playing with who and if they're any good.

Well, I do both fly-fishing in saltwater as well as spin/surf casting. Lately it's been from the shore but I do spend alot of time bouncing around on boats as well.

We get Striped bass that migrate through here as well as Bluefish, some Mackerel, Cod and False Albacore. I've never seen an Atlantic Salmon but I'm certain one has turned up at least once! Heck, someone pulled a Striper out and found a Lookdown in its gut!

There are lakes here but primarily for freshwater you're looking at heading up to New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine.

I haven't done any real freshwater fishing but that's likely to change this Summer as my new job is about 30 yards from a large lake that has been stocked with Bass, Tiger Muskie and Perch.

If you could have one super power what would it be?

The ability to arrive at my own leisure and have it be considered "on time."

Favorite character from tv/book/movie ect.?

Kilgore from "Apocalypse Now."

Let me see what I can come up with.....gotta dig through the old threads and grab the links.

I'd probably hole up in a strip club out in Vegas or in Montreal for the span of time.

The first rule of forum gloss is that you do not talk about forum gloss.

The second rule of forum gloss is that you do not talk about forum gloss.

The third rule of forum gloss is that if you do talk about forum gloss you make yourself available to be abused by the forum members and likely a victim to their whim when determining forum gloss.

The Harry Potter quote was more of an inspirational thing from the movie. Through the series Hagrid was more of a moral center for the characters up until that installment when his hands were tied to be able to assist the main characters in what was an insidious erosion of the truth and freedoms for the sake of safety and security. I found great paralells between his actions and that line in particular in regards to everyday life.

"Those who desire to give up freedom in order to gain security will not have, nor do they deserve, either one." - Thomas Jefferson
