This is your rig. What would *you* do with it?

Re: This is your rig. What would *you* do with it?

GUITARS:
  • 1994 Les Paul Standard; keeper - but I don't care for the Page wiring
  • 2000 MIJ Fender Strat; definitely a keeper as described
  • 2003 MIJ Fender Tele with maple fingerboard; keeper, but the Lace Sensor will have to go for another Harmonic Design pickup - maybe a Z90 in the neck
  • 2003 ES-333 (the stripped down version of the 335); all stock; this one will have to go - possibly in favor of a Heritage H535 or a proper ES335
  • 1996 Guild D4-NT acoustic with Fishman internal pickup installed goner, this one will be replaced by a Furch G24SR
AMPS (all tubes stock):
  • Mesa/Boogie Single Rectifier head I don't care for Recto's - therefore a goner

  • Vox AC-30 Top Boost Reissue combo keeper

If that were MY rig, I'd probably ditch every guitar except the Les Paul, and add some more "metal" guitars.

Re: This is your rig. What would *you* do with it?

Here we go,guitars:keep the LP sell everything and buy a MIA strat
Amps: Keep SR 65 reissue
effects:keep CS2-BD2-TU2-Hot vake-Teese Wah-Rockman

Get rid of everything else.

Re: This is your rig. What would *you* do with it?

sell all of it but the paul, the vox, the tele, the dc-5, the cab, maybe a few pedals, and buy an el camino mind condition just for starters. i know there's better out there but i've always loved those cars. and i'd also buy a shag'n wagon just to drive to school and keep home  . i'd customize the shag'n wagon with some cool stuff

Re: This is your rig. What would *you* do with it?

I'd for sure hold onto the LP and the tele, but would rewire each of them to suit my preferences. The tele would also get some different pickups.

I'd probably unload the two Mesa heads but keep the 2x12 cab. The rest of the amps I'd keep and update tubes as needed.

I woulnd't even know where to begin with the pedals. Many I've never tried, so I can't say whether or not I'd fins use for them. Others, like the modded TSs and overdrive pedals, I would probably hold on to.

Re: This is your rig. What would *you* do with it?

I read over my earlier reply, and I think I'd change a few things from then.

  • 2003 ES-333 (the stripped down version of the 335); all stock - keep

Id take the 94 LP standard,

run that through

Modded blues driver
Tubscreamer
Anologman chorus
Uni-Vibe
Line 6 delay moddeler

then run that into the

Vox ac30

im with you on that one man

Re: This is your rig. What would *you* do with it?

Sell the Les Paul and buy a USA Jackson Soloist then put hybrids in it, and put Some Bareknuckle Stormy Mondays in the 333

Than rock the hell out with that AC 30

Re: This is your rig. What would *you* do with it?

Sell everything but the Les Paul, Strat, ES-333 and Mesa's. Mod the Strat for a H-S-H pickups, and put a floyd on it. With the money made buy an SG and load it with some duncans.

Re: This is your rig. What would *you* do with it?

id sell everything except the tele, the vox ac-30, the crybaby, memory man and modded ts-9.
