Better was sound when using them with V30 in x pattern. have a JCM 800 2204 head. now i have two G12H30 Anniversaries out to try. will go that combo with V30 in x pattern. damn, i played through that dammned 75's and sound is too harsh in most of settings i try. just f..k..g annoying hi end frequencies. i play them for about 20 hours at pretty high volumes, and still they sound harsh. together with V30 much better i think. now i will try rewire the 1960 A Lead Cabinet and put in them G12H30/V30 mix in x pattern, just because i already have only two H30's. and V30 breaks up earlier than all these speakers, so i think they kind of fit in, as they are probably already broken in, or it will be next month or two. i am not in any band situation yet, i just crank the amp twice a week for about two hours, sometimes i go into another room, and just enyoy playing through it. that's all i can do for now.. i am scared that before the speakers will break in, it will be time for serious tubes replacement, but, if i am gonna get the amp to luthier, i will tell him to tame those f..k..g highs a bit down, for f..k sake. apologies, but i am little angry now. kind of dissapointed, but it's ok. and i have some kind of attenuator someone build one for me. it's cool sometimes, but those speakers needs some serious volume before they break in. Arrgh, those painfull goddamn waiting to whole thing balances in the right, acceptable way.. maybe i should get one MXR 10 Equalizer to cut those annoying treble spike a bit down. i have an active fx loop installed.
