Lew: What I found amazing was being able to pick out at least 3 of those qualities really easily from it. The growl of the Marshall when overdriven, the headroom of the Matchless and the chime of the Vox.
This has turned out to be a great thread. Glad I brought it up.
If there's more on the 6L6, 6V6 front, please add.
