Re: Well, I'm Going To Attempt My First Guitar Assembly
Jolly,
Jolly,
I'll get a friend of mine to do it. He worked at Gibson for years, and then was the manager of the Guild Custom Shop for about 10-12 years until they closed and moved a couple of years ago.so who WILL drill the neck holes?

Ha!! I actually thought the same thing. He'll probably be able to figure it out then
...Even though he probably never drilled a single neck hole in all those years!
DeWalt D26451K.Anybody got any suggestions for a good mouse/palm sander or the like?
I love DeWalt stuff. I've never had a problem with anything of theirs. I just wonder if that would be too much for what I'm going to use it for. I really wouldn't be using it all that much.

Any clear finish will look great, but that beauty deserves a little bit of color. For your consideration:

If I did that, I would rename it the Gayman. If it were mine, I'd do it in ice, man. I mean the palest shade of faded denim over a white wash. Then, do the clear coats and buff them till they shine like a sheet of ice.
