I see [ Auto - Whammy ] and so forth and the [ You Do It ]

What kids of expression triggers are you into for whammy - flanger - delay - ?

What are you guys using and why ?


Delay triggering off of the guitar/vocal solo finale .

What's the trick to get it righteous ?

When do you Flang , wham , delay it and where in a song for impact ?

I just got a whammy/expression pedal - sort of - heh heh heh .
It's not your garden variety or super expensive either - but pretty cool IMHO .

Tuner > US Dream > Mean Green Clean Boost > Flanger > Weeping Demon Was > Front of amp

FX send > Chorus > Phaser > Garage Tone Delay > Boss RV3 Delay/Verb > Ibanez AD9 Delay > Boss DD 3 delay > FX Return

effects that use as "momentary" meaning I use only a bit in the middle of a song =

Flanger for arpeggio licks in DOWN BOYS
Was for intro lead riff to YOU GOVE LOVE A BAD NAME
RV3 for intro and solo only to ROCK YOU LIKE A HURRICANE

I use the DD3 for delay on solos for
NOTHING BUT A GOOD TIME
PANAMA
ROUND AND ROUND

the AD9 is on all time in
CUM ON FEEL THE NOIZE
SHAKE ME

Chorus is on all through
POUR SOME SUGAR
TALK DIRTY
