...this year? I know it's a little early but what the hey huh? :13:

Many have had it lean this year for a variety of reasons. Me? I had to pay for a replacement vehicle from an accident in Nov. '08 that totaled my '89 Integra. Miss that one. The '94 Accord that replaced it has grown on me but.....

Anywho, I had a lean year guitar buying wise. These three came in....

Traded bodyies with a cat in Minneapolis. He got my Mary Kaye ( Pale White/Biege) with Tortoise shell pickguard T51 body and I got this Natural finished body and guard. We kept necks, hardware, and electronics. I had Ben Chafin set mine up. Nice Ash. :scratchch :approve: :cool2:

'96 Hamer T51

Scored this for my birthday back in January off Craigslist. All original Hamer Special Humbucker with no flametop. Usually these were P90 loaded.

'94 Special HB

This last one I bought in the silent auction at the Dean Open House Jam night back in February. I thought for sure SOMEONE would outbid me. :naughty: Mr. Chafin has it and is working a little magic on it's scars and addding Double Cream Manilus HBs to it.

Got a jump on 2010 though with a custom order in the Dean USA shop that probably will be that year's purchase budget in it's self.

It was a lean year for me too. I usually buy and sell 5 to 10 guitars a year. My only purchases have been an '01 Gibson, SG Special an '08 G&L, Asat Classic Custom and a '92 G&L, Skyhawk. I had an '03 Fender, Highway 1 Strat for awhile but traded it for the SG.

This year I bought a Dean Razorback, Sold my Jackson RR3, sold a Jackson JSRR, bought a Jackson Warrior (just ten minutes ago.)

Actually, they're all in the main hallway up here, and luckily we've not had any fall yet. Only dings on them are completely my fault.

I'm going to be building a stand one of these days, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

You´re the one that´s picking them up by the truckload, far be it from me to question your sorting system. I just figured if they fall over less you won´t pick them up as often, seemed logical to me

Late 2008 I bought my MG-122 from Ascension and somewhere around March my MG-100 from Bloodrose

At the same time (around April) I also got my Michael Kelly Patriot Limited.

Finally, somewhere around February/March I put the finishing touches to my Swing EZ-10, completing a project that started when I first decided to buy her and strip and replace EVERYTHING not made of wood.

All in all, a good year, certainly better than what 2010 is shaping out to be for me right now...

do u mean Halo out of Cupertino? From what i can tell they are pretty solid guitars from the two i have played. My friends band has a sponsership so those guys get them for half off... i kinda hate them right now. Even if the guitars are not my style they have a rather nice Tele

I believe that's the one. I bought one at a pawn shop for 200 and change.

(set neck and all!) It really is nice...I need to finish changing out the electronics in it, though...(those weren't anything great...the tone selector switch is the last piece of rubbish I need to get out of that guitar.)
