What happened with this fine looking Peavey?

The re-designed Impact 1 & 2 apparently didn't have much of a run...anybody ever have one? It was supposed to have a nice chunky 25" neck and a $700 price tag. Just love that body :bigthumb:

They show up on the 'bay every once in a while... for a stretch, they were also made with Kahler tremolos (which is why I know this).

Other'n that, I don't know much about 'em.

And apparently, they were played by A-ha...

If you get that joke, congratulations, you're (at least) as old as I am.

Thanks jtougas; I'm much older than you, and I live much closer to Norway than you :barf:
It's the `93 version, with the cool headstock and that extraordinary upper horn that has me fascinated...

Never saw this one, but from what I can see, I like it. Some PV guitars were pretty decent. I had their Tele model. Pups were not great, but it was a nicely crafted piece of wood.
