Super Distortion is hard to beat. I haven't seen anyone else giving it any love, but I recently installed Paf Pro in a Schecter. That thing smokes as well. But Super D is a classic.

I am ashamed to admit I have never tried a Seymour Duncan humbucker nor trembucker so.....

.....my favorite bridge pup is Carvin's answer to DiMarzio's Super Distortion: the M22SD. It's on my all maple ST300 and it sounds pretty solid in my ears.

Man I can't believe how many folks here actually like the C5 as I loath the things. I'm a guy who does a LOT of soloing and the C-5 for me just will not cut. For rhythm stuff they can be cool but with the lack of mids the C-5 absolutely will not slice through the mix for solos!
For me top 5 is
1 C-8
2-JB
3- Alt-8
4 Custom Custom
5 Virtual Hot PAF ( that's right the one from the "other" brand!)
