what p/ups for metal/rock (gary moore/dio etc)

what would you suggest for classic rock/metal tones..i dig early gary moore(the metal years)..dio..whitesnake etc..currently using an explorer pro with gibson 498 and 500t's...they're .ok but pinch harmonics don't really jump out and they sound a little thin..thanks for any advice.:fingersx:

i have a JB in my standard explorer, and its great for the same kinda tones as your looking for. really good pinch harmonics too. the distortion or custom would probably do the trick too
