What the Heck: Little E 19th Fret

On my Epi SG G-400 when I bend the little E at the 19th fret a full step there is not much volume or sustain compared to everywhere else on the neck. Is this a pickup issue? I’m working out the Dave Gilmour Time solo and the 19th fret bends suck on that guitar.

I doubt it's pickup. Could be issue with frets or maybe there's just dead spot.

Try adding some weight on headstock.

To increase an already prevalent neck dive?

My guess is that it is a fret issue, and not the pickup.

Fret issue or could be a kinked string as well

What do you hear when you bend the string and pick quarter notes with it bent acoustically without the amp?
