I might possibly trade my Epi LP Custom to a guy for a Laney VC30 1x12......anyone tried one of those???

If I could afford one, a Jeff Seal Marshall 2205... do those have FX loops?

A Bogner Exctasy 101b, a Marshall 30th Anniversary, and a Deluxe Reverb and a Bassman RI would be nice too.

Yup, the 2205 and the 2210 came from Marshall with effects loops, once Jeff's done with the circuit it's even quiter than before. And you can afford the mod B2D...for what it would cost you to walk out of GC with a MIM Strat + tax, the mod can be yours, give or take a few buck (and depending on what you ask for). You should still be able to find a decent deal on a used 2205, or the equivlent combo (4210, 4212).

I have an early 60s Hilgen Basso Grande that should arrive today, It is essientially a Bassman clone from a company that was among a handful out east that became Ampeg. Picked it up for a 100 bucks, if it is as good as my Silvertone 1483 I will be extremely happy. 100.00 is more than worth taking the chance on, esp if it arrives with original tubes. The Silvertone was full of Mullard 12 Ax7s :dance:

Jeff are they different because on is 50W and the other 100w (headroom) or just tonal differences as one having more gain than the other?

My next amp --> Jeff Seal modded Marshall 2210. Cab will be any oversized 412 with Celestion Greenbacks.

You know i've been thinking about the JCM and all. I have a plexi already I know the JCM will have more gain, maybe a Fender Reverb deluxe or twiin will do as well. I know the are not high gain but they are super clean....

good choice.....I was thinking about the same thing for the cab. I am selling an oversize 4x12 with 2 vintage 30 and 3 greenbacks. If it does not sell I might put 2 more greenbacks in there......

A Marshall JTM45 head, Fender Twin or Blues Deville, Matamp 28w or a Bad Cat would all be great amps for me to get next! :)

Without a doubt in my mind, it will be the new Peavey JSX head into my 2x12, unless they come out with a 2x12 combo version of it.
