I too have a Hamer USA SAQT and extremely satisfied with the quality but since you have a Hamer, Go with:

1) Fender Tele
2) Jackson - Dinky Reverse
3) maybe a 12 string acoustic?

Change it up a little, play those guitars before you buy.

If you want nice tones, and not just monstuous cataclysmic distortions and harmonics,
then you have to choose among those: Jackson slat-qh, Dean usa Hardtail, ANY Prs, OR try the REALLY exceptional Tom Anderson guitars.

I tried a PRS McCarthy the other day, and i had to say that with the splitting coil you got a pretty nice panel of differnet sound to play with. Personally, this my favorite guitar... a little bit expensive though. :32: :crying: :doh:

Go for something different like a USA made Dean, Cadillac!! They can be had with two, or three humbuckers.

...but i think the headstock of a guitar is a litle thing to take seriously...but thats me...btw i prefer the gibson V headstock...but this one ain´t ugly, imo

but for the rest...that guitar is georgeus man....if i could, i´ll buy it right now

Hey everybody.

I will be graduating from college soon (yay!! ) and, since I won't have to pay tuition anymore, I figure I can get myself a brand new axe. which would you choose?


Keep in mind, I already have a LP Standard and a Hamer Special (flat top studio).

I'm looking for something with a mahogany body and set neck, with dual pickups. I'm not averse PRS, Heritage, Hamer, or Gibson (maybe a R9? ). Thanks for the suggestions.

Godin lg! :-D If you have they money for an RX then I guess that would be ok too, just keep in mind that you might be seen in public with it.
