which guitar you've owned/played has the best feeling neck

Warmoth Fatback unfinished rosewood 1" to 1" with SS6105 frets.

Gibson historic necks are my favorite, and my R7 gold top is the best. It's a friggin 1/2 baseball bat.

I think the more guitars you've sunk into over time, the less it matters. There may be some profiles that I don't like, but then, I wouldn't own them. ie, overly fat or skinny.

My hands are mostly used to Fender Am Std, Gibson 50's, and PRS wide/fat. I didn't used to like slim 60's, but I'm growing to like it.

So my answer is. I don't care. It doesn't matter. I like all my guitars. There is no best.

That is also my opinion. Most necks on quality guitars are nice to play, and the importance of neck size should not be exaggerated. I like the slim taper neck of the early -60s Gibsons, but almost anything works for me.

73 strat with finished maple neck,, such a low down dirty shame to have cost me a testicle but then again ya only need one if ya do it right

I can't really say THE best but not one I own anyway :9:

The Carvin Bolt, Jackson Dinky and a couple others come to mind
(Lately the Carvin DC was added to the list...)

also if anyone wants to be cool and tell me how to remove the sticker off hte guitar without damaging it or the guitar id appreciate it ;)

Different stickers can have different glue. But most of these glues are properly removed with lighter fluid (cleaning gasoline). Don't breathe that stuff, BTW.

If lighter fluid doesn't do it for your glue, try allohol.

If the glue has damaged the surface of the guitar over the years, don't panic. Let it dry for a week or two. Then use buffing or maybe superfine sanding and then buffing and polishing. You should have enough paint thickness there to leave a solid color. If not, you jusst reliced it :)

Trumpet oil works great for removing sticker glue as well. I've used it numerous times with great results. The plus side is there is no nasty smell. Take off as much of the stick as you can then put the trumpet oil on the remaining glue, let it sit for a few minutes to soak in there then whipe off with a soft cloth (old white t-shirts work great).

PRS wide/fat. I'll sing praises on that profile till I die. Most comfortable neck profile I've ever played.
and it only gets better when the neck is solid rosewood

Re: which guitar you've owned/played has the best feeling neck

Jackson's have some of the nicest necks for shredding and I love my DKMG neck, wide but thin, with huge frets. On the other end of thing I'm not a fan of epihone lp or sg necks. To thick and too much varnish to play fast. I've never tried Gibsons but I would assume they are the same?

This one:

Huge baseball bat of a neck with a worn nitro finish.

Also, my original '84 Schecter PT - it also had a huge neck that only I liked, but the thick poly finish wasn't as nice.
