I would like to post snippets of the lyrics, but I can't haha.

That woman should also be named Petra Steele. Then when they cover "Wolf Moon", they should change the lyrics to be from the "other" perspective, like how Type O Negative covered "Black Sabbath" from the Devil's perspective.

Just pointing this out (I will not argue/derail this thread further): Verbo's posts are awesome? So insulting members' spouses is awesome? Harassing members from multiple accounts is awesome? Those are rhetorical questions - the answer is, "No". If you complain in this thread about people singling you out and attacking you (which is a valid complaint), you would not be in the right to condone a user attacking other users. Again, I will not argue; I'm making a statement.

Securb has a point. If a guy wants to bed a woman, strategy is involved and required. With women, if they want to bed a man, a simple smile and slight flirtation will be more than enough 99.9% of the time. I guess men really are sluts.

verbo/Brian is no longer an issue. If he becomes one again, we will deal with it.

As far as my thoughts on the original topic: (forgive me if any of this has been mentioned before, as I've been away)

It's not easy to understand this issue without more participation from women.
Unfortunately, while informative, lively and irreverent, this forum is such a swinging sausage party it rivals NYC's San Gennaro Festival.
From my previous dialogues with the few women who did venture here, that was somewhat off-putting.

This is one of the reasons I feel we need to start getting a little more polite than we have been before... yes, of course hot women are awesome. Big duh.
But why can't awesome women be hot?

I checked out that monkey business forum once. I was appalled to find most of the people there are those frequenting this forum. Very familiar names.

It seems like the company running that site has been having a hard time maintaining it alive and kicking. So, the admin took advantage of his connections at SDUGF and lured them (those guys you mentioned above) to make it look like the TMRzoo is actually a place you want to be.

I am not surprised if nobody visits the site. It definitely attempts to try to be everything to everybody.

Entertainment site for men? What?! If I want entertainment online I would download some porn or go to YouTube or Premier Guitar (for those mesmerizing Rig Rundown series). That site definitely lacks focus.

I usually am not the biggest fan of cover bands/tribute bands but this would be interesting.

I don't know about anyone else, but things like talent, intelligence, performance, playing guitar... all make a woman more attractive to me. Conversely, a swimsuit model in heels holding a PRS or an ML doesn't suddenly become a guitar player.

OK, I'll give you that, but why add to the noise? Let him be the sole noisemaker so it's easier for the rest of us that just ignore him (I don't even have him on my ignore list) to not even notice.

I asked my wife to confirm but she didn't even realize I played guitar until she came over my house the first time and she was trying to get in my pants on the first date. LOL

I got into music because I was 14 and angry at the world. 21 years later I'm a little less angry. LOL
