WTB Rackmount guitar power amp!

Mr 9finger

Digitally Challenged
I've gots me an ADA MP1 and don't have any kind of amp or power amp to run it through, so I'm in the market. I don't know how many rack guys are here, but it's worth a shot. Ebay isn't yielding me to many results either!

Preferably 2 channel and 50 or under for tubes, Solid State doesn't really matter on the wattage.

Re: WTB Rackmount guitar power amp!

Theres a few options on ebay now!

The ART SLA-1 is a solid state power amp, Very clean sounding, theres one on ebay currently at ~$100. You also need a special cable with banana ends for speaker cables I believe though too.

A Peavey Classic 50/50, all tube, good if you required the resonance and presence of the power section to go with an 80's tube pre.

Theres a Mesa 20/20 there as well, but it ain't cheap, upwards of ~400 in any case.

I bought a used Mesa 50/50 for $350 last year, needed a new fuse holder, but worked good when I had it, I sold it cause I was trying to get out of a full rack setup.

Re: WTB Rackmount guitar power amp!

I looked around on there earlier, but didn't see much. Must have searched wrong. I'll go back and look.

I'm not looking for a huge rack setup either. I bought the MP1 cuz I always wanted one, but I'm going to buy another pre amp to run a stereo setup.

Re: WTB Rackmount guitar power amp!

Does it have to be rackmount? I'd go for a Crate PowerBlock.

Re: WTB Rackmount guitar power amp!

I got to looking around in some other areas of Ebay and found a couple possibilities! I'll leave this up in case someone else comes by with something else!
