Re: Your Exclusive Guitar Contract

As for guitars amps and pedals, I could go 100% Gibson, Marshall and Fulltone with no regrets.

Re: Your Exclusive Guitar Contract

It's a good thing this is a daydream, because my playing is not going to put me in anybody's sights. But to fantasize:

For me the sticking point would be acoustic guitars. Fender is just not known for great acoustics. For that reason I'd probably have to consider Gibson (especially if they could come up with a 55 year old J45 instead of a new one!). I'd sure miss Strats and Teles though.

Another thought: Fender owns a bunch of other companies - like Hamer and Guild (at least they used to own Guild, do they still?), so if the instruments could come from Fender *owned* companies maybe that would be the ticket.

Yet another thought: a few high end acoustic luthiers occasionally build electrics. I think Larrivee does. Even the tiny one man shop that my beloved John David Scott acoustic came from - that would be David Amirault - has built custom solid bodies.

Decisions, decisions. What a delightful problem to have.

Re: Your Exclusive Guitar Contract

Jackson. Don't even need anything fancy. Stock stuff is fine with a pickup mod.

Re: Your Exclusive Guitar Contract

Suhr... second PRS... Also, Carvin would be a possibility...

If it HAD to be a major brand. Fender... I can't do without a Strat and I can make do with a Fender amp.

Suhr or Heritage ;)

Or IA Guitars; http://www.iaguitars.com

I was gonna say Fender but yeah, I'll have one of those Crestons too, please.

Re: Your Exclusive Guitar Contract

Can we actually say Suhr? Cause that'd be wicked!

More down-to-earth though, it'd probably be Schecter, really great variety plus a kick-@ss Custom Shop (if they were to give me access to it).

Another brand I'd go for would be Carvin, except their "custom shop" won't consider custom neck carves which kinda defeats the point of a "custom" guitar...

Re: Your Exclusive Guitar Contract

Definitely Fender. I already use them, they're high profile, timeless, and having my picture in Fender Frontline would be cool.

As for the rig, it'd probably be a Supersonic 100 halfstack with a Vibroking on each side, if it had to be Fender as well.

First choice for amp rig would easily be Bogner. XTC/412 cab with Duende Seco Mojado and Metropolis stacked on top of each other.

Without a doubt, it would have to be Fender. The Stratocaster is the greatest instrument ever made and I can't see myself not playing anything else but .

Re: Your Exclusive Guitar Contract

Probably Gibson, although I love Fender, too.

I'd love to have some Custom Shop babies I can't afford:

-R8 or R9
-Black Beauty
-P90 Goldtop

Also some nice Firebirds, Super 400 and... I should stop dreaming.

DBZ Guitars. I love the Bolero's, Cavallo's, and Bird Of Prey shapes they offer :) I'm a proud owner of one Premier Series Bolero, and I really like the feel of it. But as they don't ''sponsor'' artists...

JACKSON GUITARS!!!!! :D A Kelly or Rhoads would do it for me!!!! :D
