Re: Your Exclusive Guitar Contract

It's tempting, but I have to say "brand" = "name on the headstock".

I'm going to have to say Gibson (ironically, coming from a Fender and PRS owner).

It's not too hard to figure out; you've got great electrics and arguably even better acoustics. J-45s are one of the best acoustics of all time and I can get an endorsement for Gibson to set me up with those and some fat neck ES-335s? Game over. As much as I love PRS, I have a profound respect for Gibson acoustics and custom shop electrics would be mighty tempting. Maybe PRS acoustics will turn out to be incredible (they sure sound pretty good thus far), but there's a comfort to more traditional pieces and that's what Gibson offers.

Re: Your Exclusive Guitar Contract

I'm thinking Hamer, PRS or Jackson USA. what I want is a singlecut version of Chris Broderick's signature jackson, perhaps a bit more classically oriented. and with a korina back, not mahogany, and with wenge or purpleheart necks, and a very few limited editions with padouk, rosewood and bubinga. cause I like woods.

when it comes to amps: marshall. sorry, I'm old fashioned :P

Fender. Teles and maybe a nice Jazzmaster for me, P- and J-Basses for my son.

I would have a clause in my contract stipulating that my guitars NOT be owned and played for five years by other people who bash big chips out of the finish on the back of the neck.

Re: Your Exclusive Guitar Contract

I've wanted to have ESP make me a reverse viper forever (like a firebird, or take a lefty viper and turn it upside down).

Or a Mahogany Kelly with a TOM.

But an old style flat top mockingbird neck thru with the maple stringers would just about do it.
