Funny, for being a complete 80's ho, I don't have any working guitars that really scream "the 80s".

Maybe more like "the 70s".

Your Charvel is most certainly 80's. No doubt about it, regardless of the sparkly pickguard. That's an 80's superstrat setup all the way.

This one had a Super Distortion in the bridge and a JB in the neck when I got it. I kept the Super Distortion but swapped the neck for a Jazz/A2.

I love this guitar

sweet. the cleans werent great on that guitar but it did what it did so damn well. great crunchy rhythm from the bridge and a huge liquid solo tone from the neck, plenty of other stuff too but those two sounds got a lot of use

I had a HH version of that same guitar with an Edge tremolo, should have never gotten rid of it. I still have my Plum version. What an awesome sounding and playing guitar. Here is a clip of the guitar.

My 20' Epi LP Standard 60's is another very 80's rocker. I grew up on MTV and so many great players were slinging them. So when I think 80's guitars, an LP is one that jumps out at the top of my list.
