I see the terms in-phase, out-of-phase, series, parallel in pickup wiring diagrams. Does in-phase mean series or parallel? Does out-of-phase mean series or parallel? Or am I even asking the right question?

What all is included with the basslines tone circuits? Are any pot's or wires included? Are there any complete basslines tone circuit kits with pickups, pots, circuit and wire?

Is there a lot of noise with the SJB-3? I've read several posts where users indicate there is noise with this pickup? Would additional shielding help with this?
