What you see here is my MIM strat, Sonny, with Seymour Antiquity HBs!!! The only difference is that he came with a poplar body, but it should be fairly similar to alder in tone. Sonny came with the stock MIM SCs. I did a full overhaul. The volume is a 300k linear pot while the tones are 500k audio tapers with 0.047 orange drop capacitors. I thought it was bright, hence the volume pot value. YMMV. The tone is nothing short of incredible. The bridge gives some great rock tones, especially classic rock. The neck HB is super sweet and smooth and is hands down the best pickup I have ever heard. Can't lose with this combo my friend. Dr. Barlo is right, you will have to route out some wood to make room not just for the HBs but also for their long legs. You may want to let a tech handle this if you're uncomfortable with it. But the end result is worth it, trust me.
To also touch on what gibson175 said about PGs. I haven't tried a Pearly Gates Neck in any guitar. But I did recently drop a Pearly Gates Bridge in an American Special HSS strat of mine. The SCs are Texas Specials, alder body, maple neck, rosewood fretboard, 250k pots all around and Greasebucket tone circuits (has an extra cap so it rolls off treble w/out adding bass according to Fender). The PG Bridge can be described as nothing short of an excellent choice. Lots of gutsy-attitude while still giving a great clear tone.
