This is really interesting as I have 3 Lesters and 1 strat, and I find the same, but opposite, issues. I need my strat for some songs (Superstition, by SRV for example), but 90% or more of my stuff is played on my Les Pauls as I find th strats too limiting...great for the classic 'strat quack', but beyond that I'm not a big fan...just my opinion of course - I just found it interesting that our views were identical, but from opposite perspectives...
