Re: Convince me as to why I should or why I shouldn't get a shredstick...
I just wish most companies had better CS. Like small shops and stuff. For example, Duncan, while they seem to NEVER answer my e-mails, the few times they do they are super nice.
I still remember Diocletian asked the boys and girls at Duncan about the chrome Allen polepieces on Brian Haner, Jr's (Synyster Gates from Avenged Sevenfold) custom Invaders and they actually sent him a set of those polepieces, free of charge.
I tried so hard to get a set of Zero Resistance studs and locking nut neck screws from Ibanez and nobody helped out.
I guess it just comes with the territory of dealing with a big company.
It seems Duncan and DiMarzio, since they're smaller than say Ibanez, do have a pretty good customer service. I don't know if it's still the case but I remember hearing lots of people sending e-mails to DiMarzio and getting personal responses from DiMarzio daddy-o Steve Blucher himself. That's pretty cool.
