My only good amp: A Mesa Nomad 100 w/ a Marshall JCM900 1960A with some G-75-whatevers that I find are just great. I don't think they're too bright/piercey.
After this whole J-master project gets done I will have in my possesion a Gibson Mercury w/ the same cab. I don't care enough to buy the matching cab. Although it looks really cool....
96 Bogner Ecstasy, white chassis 101B w/all options. Bogner 4-12 w/Vin 30's. Hands down, the best amp I've ever owned or plugged into.
Luckily, I found a canefront headshell on Ebay for $200, so it's got 2 outfits.
The best amp for me would have to be my Budda Superdrive 80. The amp doesnt have a bad sound + the 6 knobs make it real easy to find great tone. Lets not forget the thick + punchy budda cab.
Need I say it? Yes. Celtic Caitlin. So much versatility and responsiveness for such a simple amp. Plus, I can crank it w/o the need for a power attenuator. It takes well to my three main guitars: Les Paul, Tele and Strat.
Now all I need to make that amp complete is a footswitch to activate the tremolo, and a tube reverb tank.
