FS Ibanez 7, custom paint

For sale here is my RG7420 (with a 7620 neck) that I had a buddy of mine paint. It's in awesome condition, but I never play it. I missed the first 7 string I sold, so I picked this one up. I find that I just don't play it at all. Included are before and after pics. The only issue with this guitar is that if you hold it at just the right angle, you can see where the neck cavity was filled, and it is palpable under the fingers. However, on stage, it will not be seen. The paint is amazing. It's pink with a purple metal flake, great for your 80's metal band and relfects stage lights like you wouldn't believe. Single Evolution 7 in the bridge. Trem bar is included. No case.

if it was any other colour and UK i'd be all over it.. i have a 7621 (hardtail) and it's a solid workhouse of a japanese ibanez.. the neck is lovely!

OMG, i want that one bad. It's so totally 80s and oldschool. I'll be roaming my place for stuff to sell(would you even consider going voerseas?) to finance it. i don't have anything i could offert as a trade

I thought that was Mark's guitar MM2002 from the Jackson/Charvel forum??? I was interested in buying it from him back in February or March but I never even knew it sold. I was going to offer him $250 as he was asking $275 for it.

thats pretty sweet and amazing price. I just did mine the same thing except yellow (one hum).. but I dont intend on keeping it either, just doing it cause Im bored and waiting for a neckthru body 7 string

Yep, I've got it listed for sale on the JCF as well. When the board changed, I lost the ability to use Travis as my screen name. My last name is Russell, thus the 1trussell screen name I go by over there.

The link you provided is for a 6 string Ibanez RG420 that Mark painted before this 7 string RG7420 I have listed. The colors were similar, but that one had more of a pruple shade to it. Here's a pic of the RG420 6 string you're thinking about.

I bought the 7 string guitar from Mark for $350 and I have only played it a couple of times since I got it.

A couple of new shots I just took of the 7 string.

I tried to get the neck pickup filler impression to show up, but I can't. However, it is there and you can see it when you're up close as well as feel it when you run your finger over it.

By the way, this thing sounds awesome through my 5150. I just don't play it much at all. Someone else needs to enjoy this one.

I don't know if he still has that guitar or not. I would guess no as that was a long time ago. But, you can always drop him a line over at the jcf and ask.

It was an RG 420 and it was sold to a guy in Belgium. I just found out.
