I'll actually take cash, too. $1000 would be perfect.

I'd like to get either a Prosonic head or combo for this amp. I could also deal with a Supersonic head, but not the combo version.

Also, Hot Rod Deville 2x12 would be decent, as well.

Even a Vox AC30 (as long as it works without a hitch) would be great. Or a Laney VC30

Recently was fully retubed with tubes from Eurotubes, so they've got life in them.

For now, I'd just like to get rid of the head, or just the head and cab as a set.

The cash, though, is solely for the head (obviously.)

ALSO, how about a Ceriatone DC-30~! That'd make me pretty happy, too! :)

Of course, PM me if you sell the head and feel like moving the cab.

Re: FT/ Mesa Boogie Tremoverb Head...

Awesome offer. Sounds great man, really, but I'm looking more at 2x12s, sorry.

Stock for the Prosonic is 2/10's there was never a 2/12 Prosonic. Zinky designed these as a 1/12 and ordered a few built (12 is the number he told me) with Vin 30's as CS amps . All production Prosonic combos are 2/10's.
I know Bruce from talking to him on the Red one off Aerosmith 120 watt Prosonic head I have. He is still not happy that Fender insisted on these being produced with the 10's!
I had 4 of these amps last year and sold a Black Head and Black 2/10.

Re: FT/ Mesa Boogie Tremoverb Head...

My mistake! I meant the 2x10, haha. Something with TWO speakers is what I need! I love the definition you get from those.

And if you ever feel like parting with that Aerosmith head, gimme a holler! :)

Doubtful the Red head will go anywhere but if it does I will yell.
The 1/12 is a LOT bigger sounding less directional and smoother than the 2/10's in these amps BTW.
I have owned a BUNCH of these so if you grab one yell I can give you a couple tips on tubes and such.
The combo and head are voiced slightly differently + the head does not have verb no biggie just be aware. The combo is voiced slightly darker and the head more middy and brighter . I have run both through the same cabs and Bruce himself told me that they were voiced differently. Both he and I slightly prefer the combos. My Red Head is a combo chassis with the Tonemaster 120 watt power section and Reverb in the standard Tonemaster box that was used for both amps. The verb tank is bolted to the back screen on my head!!

Bruce hand built mine himself and it's one BEAST of an amp. KILLER cleans with headroom for days and a bigger fatter smoother richer crunch than the normal Prosonic. That + it's STUPID loud when cranked over say 3.

Re: FT/ Mesa Boogie Tremoverb Head...

Well basically, I'm looking for a more AC30 styled treble-y amp. The prosonic is just an amp I've wanted for a while.

I'm into more indie-rock style tones, kind of like those found in bands like The Strokes and Phoenix. Much like the ones found in the following clip. (I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but bear with me.)

GL with the sale bro although you will prolly hate yourself for selling it one day. I LOVE mine and will never get rid of it.

Re: FT/ Mesa Boogie Tremoverb Head...

Hey don't get me wrong! I know it's awesome amp, but I know the style isn't for me! I just don't play the same kind of music anymore.

Re: FT/ Mesa Boogie Tremoverb Head...

That'd be good!

As would a Hot Rod Deville 2x12 or a Vibrolux!

I've got an early 90's US 2 x 12 Deville two channel, not the three like the Hot Rod.
The dirty channels are nothing to write home about, I just use it as a boost, gain at minimum, vol at tops.
Another thing to note is changing the output valves to 6V6's and she breaks up alot earlier, otherwise they are LOUD!

Have you looked at the AC30's from the Vox chinese plant? Should be pretty cheap as we can get them for about $1000 AUD.
