Re: FT/ Mesa Boogie Tremoverb Head...

I'm not so sure I could deal with a Chinese amp! I can just hear the purists roaring.

Given today's production methods, it really doesn't matter.
The Deville's and Deluxe's use pcb boards as does most middle of the road stuff.
Geez, $4 k Gretche's are being built in China I can remember when "Made in Japan" was as no go zone.
If the materials are good, it doesn't really matter who builds the thing, most of the production these days is computer controlled.

Re: FT/ Mesa Boogie Tremoverb Head...

a guy i know spends way too much money on amps and loves his AC30; it's a late-90s one if that helps
prefers his matchless etc but does like his vox. i heard it, it was a cool amp

Re: FT/ Mesa Boogie Tremoverb Head...

Still! I'll never be too sure, since I personally try to avoid China-made gear.

@dr. ad
Yeah, the AC30 seems to be the 'go-to' amp for a lot of people.

Re: FT/ Mesa Boogie Tremoverb Head...

Definitely not interested in any more Mesa-gear, pal.

Unless you got a Lonestar. :D

Re: FT/ Mesa Boogie Tremoverb Head...

I think it's time to prioritize!

I'm ONLY looking for an AC30 now, with blue speakers. THAT or a Hot Rod Deville 2x12 with either cash or pedals to balance it out.

Take my Mesa Boogie Maverick 1x12 for your cabinet and some cash. You know you want it.

Re: FT/ Mesa Boogie Tremoverb Head...

Thaaaanks, but no thanks. Trying to get rid of the head and then the cab for straight cash.

Re: FT/ Mesa Boogie Tremoverb Head...

I'm looking to get rid of it for say... $700, since it's going with the touring case.

But I'll take some offers, I think.
