DC resistance is an artifact of construction. It's indicative only. IME wire, magnets and winds contribute to altering the sound/frequency response, that's all. It does not imply suitability for a particular style of music, though some pickups may have been designed trying to address concerns of musicians of a particular style.
For example, I have a 1980's/1990's MJ wound 9k Pearly Gates bridge that is just as loud as my 16k production JB and Distortion I have. The JB is dark, the Pearly is bright and clear and the Distortion is so bright it's 'fizzy' under gain. They are interchangeable and can be used for multiple styles. The difference is how much I roll the tone off or not.
do you think the dc resistance is important like 14k for the sh4 or just the millivolts ?
The burstbucker pro has just 8k maximum but they don't say it is for hard rock like the 498t
they just say it's for modern music so ?
