It's an '84. Up till I got it, I was dead set against the very existence of those, couldn't stand the shape. Now it's one of my favorites. The neck is a lot like the '77 Lester Deluxe in the pic above it. I always had the misconception that they all had skinny little shredder necks on them, boy was I wrong.

You're never going to believe this, but it was a freebie.

:haha: :haha: The stickers came with it, I just haven't removed them yet. Guy who gave it to me said he got it that way. Some joker had painted all the black hardware whit, too, looked ridiculous. Took forever to get it all off, too. The finish is peeling off of it, too. It's rough, but it's a heck of a player.

The neck was almost unplayable, the paint was peeling so bad, so I did a Zakk-Grail job to it.

Yeah Captain those are very nice. Fan of P90's and minibuckers, huh? So am I!

And if beggar ever reas this, your guitars are very tastefully done as well!

P-90's are my favorites!! The mini in the Warmoth Telecaster came out of the Lester Deluxe. It's an SM-3. I put the Tele together specifically as a home for that mini. It's a great sounding pickup, but it was always out of place in that Deluxe. Gets some great Pete Townsend tones out of it in the Tele, tho.

Loved the update pics on your Green Buddy, too. I like the white knobs.It's coming along nicely.

Oh thanks a lot dude! I love minibuckers and P90s myself. I love humbucker bridges, but I've never heard a neck I really liked. The pups in my Buddy right now are the originals, they are single coils in mini-bucker shells. I love the neck so much! The bridge is way weak, but I love the booming bass from the neck.

A TV Jones Classic/Powertron set will be awesome, cause it mixes that single coil neck/rythym that most people love, with a humbucker worthy bridge pup. I plan to wire them out of phase too, so that when the switch is in the middle it's hum-cancelling. Should be great!

Sorry about the rambling! :D I love your Gibsons, a lot.
