Guitar suggestions

Well, i'm off to uni later this year and i'm looking for something versatile but not to costly i can take with me. I play anything from Lamb of god to some of the mellower pumpkins stuff and everything inbetween, it'll be played through a pod xt in to a marshall combo or a 20/20 (finances allowing). So far i've looked at the LP studio, which i'm trying out next weekend and the Framus diablo custom, which sadly i can't find around here, and if i decided on it, it would have to be orderd online. Can anyone else recomend anything else in this price range they've played or heard that would suit my needs?

That looks pretty sweet, i don't see Schecters around here much, any idea of a uk release date? i wouldn't mind hunting one down and having a go, i've no experience with 7 strings though.

Many guitars would work for what you do. I'd find something with a 5 way switch or coil tap for ultimate versatility.

What are peoples oppinions on the Diablo Custom? I've only heard good things about them so far.
