If you could only have one guitar, what would you choose

Re: If you could only have one guitar, what would you choose

Unless you had a Microcube with rechargeable batteries and a solar recharger.

True dat! Or if you had the Professor from Gilligan's Island to make you a coconut battery!

Really though, what I just described is absolutely technically feasible. I've seen solar rechargers for reasonable prices. I used to bring my Microcube onto Pacific Beach in SD along with my Shecter 7 string. Once got some applause from some Asian tourist.

Sticking to the topic question: I'd pick any Jazzmaster over any other guitar, anyday.

Re: If you could only have one guitar, what would you choose

If I had to live in the very far fetched fantasy world the OP suggested, I would have a Fender USA Strat with rosewood fretboard and jumbo frets. :cool2:

Re: If you could only have one guitar, what would you choose

In a slightly different world, I'd grab a PRS 594. If I have to stick to one I already have, my PRS 513.

Happy ending. I agreed to get rid of the big old desk in my office and let the wife pick some Pennsylvania House desk that I don't much care for. It is much smaller and kinda foofooy but it works and the trade off is I can set up a guitar rack in the office. Thank you all again for your contributions.

ahh.. compromise and negotiatiuons

glad ya came to a solution

I felt sorta bad about the bluntness of my post.. but there have been people that where in a similar situation ,come her and started a thread just like you did.Difference is they did sell some or all of their gear because someone "convinced " them too..then realized all too late, the stupidity of their actions for a variety of reasons.. Not saying dont sell your stuff if you need too but make sure the reasons are your own or your actions will haunt you for a long time to come IMO
