Ok so if the amp gets brighter through the sweep it does have this cap?

It'll be brighter with the gain on 1 than on 10 if it has the cap. You'll be able to tell my increasing it slowly. Think of it as being just like a treble bleed cap on a humbucker. Same concept. Even if it does or doesn't have the cap, it could easily be added/removed depending in your preference.
