I tend to agree. I have a G-400 that I bought used but in MINT condition for $200. For the price I paid I think its a great guitar, brand new these go for upwards to $400 now, which I think is a bit pricey for that particular guitar. However their LP's have improved in the past couple years. I played one a few months back and I liked everything from the way it felt all the way down to the pickups.Indie P Bass said:I went with Epiphone. I know, some of the stuff is pure rubbish, but other stuff they make is sheer awsome-ness. If you play around and don't go super-cheap, you won't be sorry.

HAMER
PUCKBOY99 said:Aside from the "Big 3" (Gibson, Fender, PRS), all of the ones listed are under-rated.
Wait till you get your hands on a USA made Hamer and it will blow your socks off :saeek: . Whilst not knocking the Japan/Korean models the USA models have beter quality and woods. You could change out the pups in your guitar and get some proper SD's in them - try the Seth Lovers or Customs in them.Panzer said:Amen to that. I Played a $600 CDN double cutaway flametop Hamer archtop(Japan Model) and I was totally blown away. The thing came with Duncan Designed pups stock, has a great neck, awesome tone, and prestine fit and finish. I would take Hamer over Gibson anyday. If Hamer's cheap Japan Models are that nice, I would like to get my hands on a USA made Hamer. :32:
